1 In order to:
- administer the membership of the Association, and
- enable the Association to communicate with its members, when necessary, e.g. to advise of membership benefits, or to provide information that falls within the legitimate interests of the Association or of its individual members,
the Association of Scorers in Professional Cricket (otherwise ‘the Association’) will:
- store personal information supplied by its members either on a computer or in paper form in one or more secure locations. This information will be held principally by the Secretary, but subject to the approval of the Association’s Committee copies may also be held by officers or other representatives of the Association.
- similarly store personal information supplied by non-members of the Association who make contact with it for purposes directly connected to the Association’s activities (e.g. to seek further information about the Association).
2 The personal information to be held may consist of individuals’, or organisations’
- title and name
- age (if under 18)
- postal address
- email address(es) (where supplied by the individual or organisation) and
- telephone number/s (where supplied by the individual or organisation), together with
- bank account details for members to whom the Association needs, from time to time, to make payments.
Credit and debit card details will not be stored.
3 Personal information stored by the Association will not be disclosed or sold to any third party, other than for the purposes of carrying out the functions of the Association.
4 Members of the Association and others have the right to
- see their personal data as held by the Association, and request a copy of it
- request amendment/s to any part of their personal details that are incorrect
- request that their personal data is deleted or is not used in particular ways.
5 Personal data will be deleted from the Association’s records when it is no longer required for administrative purposes or to meet the other legitimate interests of the Association.
6 Personal information held by the Association, including contact details such as personal email addresses will not be included in any of our publications unless
- the Association has the explicit consent of the person concerned to do so, or
- it was supplied to the Association with a reasonable expectation that it might be published, or it is common public knowledge
7 Any enquiries regarding the personal data held by the Association should be made to the Secretary, currently Secretary.ASPC@outlook.com
